Flying Buildings

New modular buildings have been craned in today to provide office accomodation for ORC staff and students displaced by the fire a few weeks ago. The new offices are adjacent to the Physics building that houses the ORC headquarters. This will provide high quality space for researchers until they can be moved into the permanent facilities that replace the Mountbatten complex.

Work on the site of the fire continues apace, as plans are made for medium-term fabrication facilities. Thanks to the effort of ORC staff and the wider University, the ORC is continuing to generate results and move forward with research.
