Broadband higher-order harmonic generation in two-dimensional nonlinear photonic crystals
Broadband higher-order harmonic generation in two-dimensional nonlinear photonic crystals
This study shows that 2D nonlinear photonic crystals (NPCs) can be designed to support fourth harmonic generation (FHG) cascaded processes, which have bandwidths in excess of 60 nm. These crystals should find applications in areas such as frequency conversion of ultra-short pulses and wavelength tolerant designs.

Abstract
This study shows that 2D nonlinear photonic crystals (NPCs) can be designed to support fourth harmonic generation (FHG) cascaded processes, which have bandwidths in excess of 60 nm. These crystals should find applications in areas such as frequency conversion of ultra-short pulses and wavelength tolerant designs.
