Dr Vinita Mittal

Research Staff

Vinita received her PhD entitled ‘Mid-infrared integrated photonics devices for biosensing’, supervised by Prof. James Wilkinson and Dr. Senthil Ganapathy, at the ORC in 2017. She received her master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India in 2012.

Her research focuses on the fabrication and characterisation of integrated photonic devices for applications in the near and mid-infrared regions. Her interests lie in exploring novel photonics materials, device fabrication and characterization, and spectroscopy.
