Are you an UG or PG studying Physics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Chemistry? 

Have you considered a career in lasers, optical communications, nanophotonics, biophotonics, fibre optics, integrated optics, or sensors?

Come along to the ORC's open afternoon to meet our world-leading researchers, tour our labs and gain an insight into life as a research student at the ORC. 

Find out first hand about how a PhD, or our new MSc in Photonics, can lead to the brightest of futures at our next open afternoon on Wednesday 14th March 2012.

  • We have fully funded places for UK students including tuition fees and an enhanced tax-free bursary of £15K. Plus one UK applicant will receive our new ORC Scholarship with an £18K tax-free bursary and tuition fees.
  • Fully funded places are also available for EU and International students with a tax-free bursary of £13,200 plus tuition fees.
  • We are offering up to ten scholarships of £3,000 to international fee status candidates.  To be eligible, you need to be offered a place on our MSc in Photonic Technologies starting in September 2012. Come along and find out more.
