100km distributed fiber optic sensor based on the coherent detection of Brillouin backscatter with a spatial resolution of 10m enhanced using two stages of remotely pumped erbium-doped fiber combined with Raman amplification

Abstract
We report the enhanced performance of distributed Brillouin fiber optic sensor using two stages of remotely pumped erbium-doped fiber combined with Raman amplification. Intensity and frequency resolutions of 0.60% and 0.30 MHz were achieved at 100 km.
