Speaker biography: Professor Mike Dunne
Mike Dunne is Director of the UK Central Laser Facility at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. He obtained his PhD in plasma physics from Imperial College in 1995, and is now a visiting professor there. His research background is in the areas of laser fusion, laboratory astrophysics and radiation hydrodynamics.
